I NEVER WORRY
-to expect the best for your life-

Expectation affects happiness.
We tend to see what we expect to see.

3 reasons to expect the best [Matthew 9:29]:

1.) To trust in God and to honour God.
2.) Increase ability (Stretched)
3.) Encourage others (Optimistic)

Make a choice --> Be Happy
Stay Optimistic through bad times.

-Start a day with faith [Psalm 5:3]
-Look for the positive things in every situation [Romans 8:28]
Every turn will turn out good.
-Give my worries to God [2 Corinthians 1:8-11]
-Stop speaking negatively [Ephesians 4:29]
-Remember that my future is blessed [Titus 2:13]

Flying High Part 2

Mickey Mouse MTR!

Even the handrail is Mickey mouse shape!

WelcomE!

Mini SHowroom in Disneyland

After touring Taipei, we went on to Hong Kong for the famous Disneyland and not to mention, the nightlife of Hong Kong. Every night i was at Temple Street [My hotel is there, Dorsett Seaview, room is the size of my bedroom, small and cosy, but just a bit unbearable for 2 person], Ladies Street, Men Street and Sportswear Street. Because they are all in night market style, it is very much alike to Singapore, so i din buy a lot of things. [Only difference was that they sell sex toys in Pasar Malam too, and lots of them]

Highlight of the trip is definitely DISNEYLAND! So hyped and excited when I reached the place. Even the MTR that goes to Disneyland is so beautiful. The windows are in Mickey mouse shape, even the handrails too. There are many bronze figurines of various classic characters displayed in the MTR too!

Disneyland is divided into 4 parts~
1.) Main Street USA
Where food and souveneirs are sold there, a very 1940s feel. All the disney characters had a parade there too! Had to buy a polaraid there because the battery of digital cam was flat. Enjoyed a nice banana muffin and egg tart there too.

2.) Jungle Land
Where Pirates reign~ First stop I went to take photos with Mickey in Pirate costume. Can see Tarzan and his tree house, and also watch the festival of the Lion King, a musical where they bring me back to the story of Lion King, one of Disney's Classic, with their famous songs such as 'Hakuna Matata' and 'Can you feel the love tonight'

3.) Tomorrow Land
Talking about the future, first that comes to mind would be toy story, Buzz lightyear has an interactive ride where I was given a gun to shoot at the bad toys that are trying to take away the battery. Then comes Stitch, my favorite character! He has another interactive show too, where we can talk to him. He chose me and asked for my name. Stitch was so cute! We had to help him escape the evil experiment because he stole the spacecraft~ There is also a car ride for the movie 'Cars'. And also, a space adventure roller coaster ride which i took twice that brought me to a starful sky with planets and many beautiful sights to see in space.

4.) Fantasy Land
Being the biggest part of Disneyland, the entrance to this land is the very famous castle for Disneyland, the Sleeping Beauty castle. As the name of the land suggests, its the place where all the princesses live, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the 7 Darwves, Cinderella, Mulan, Jasmine, Bell, The little mermaid and many other characters such as Pinochhio, Dumbo, Donald, Daisy, Chip and Dale and many more.

Went for Golden Mickeys show, an event where they pay tribute to the heroes, romance and adventurous characters in Disney, namely Mulan, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan and The little mermaid. It was so good, packed with dance and songs, when The little mermaid appears, bubbles fill the place~ Main thing was to bring out the theme, anything is possible as long as you dream and aspire to be who you want to be.. Also went for Philsar's Musical, just like Mickey's fantasy and his magical hat. Curious Donald took the magical hat and bring the audience on a magical 4D animation journey to the classics of Disney, like Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the beast and Snow White.

Took quite alot of pictures here. Not forgetting the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh and friends, where I was seated into honey jars cars, brought through a storybook with many different adventures of Winnie the Pooh. It was interesting and wonderful, going through many chapters of Winnie the Pooh, hope dear and my life would be sweet like that too.

The fireworks was not as wonderful and spectecular as i thought, cant really compare it to NDP, but the ambience and atmosphere were right, and the companion... was resting her head on my shoulder the whole time. The whole Disneyland was pitch dark while Sleeping Beauty's castle was glowing with many colours. Different theme songs of the princesses were played bringing us through timeless classics. Talk about unbelieveable sights, and an endless diamond sky.. Woww..

Would definitely want to visit again with my dear~

Flying High Part 1

This was the Taipei I saw.. It just kept raining..

Saw this in the MTR, Peace and Love, for dear.

New and interesting Spiral Chips [Cheese flavor]

Trying out the desserts [Mango Milk Ice]

Recently just came back from Taipei and Hong Kong with my hmmm.. gf. So definitely have to post up some interestings things that i've seen and noticed during the trip.

Its a pity that in my 4D3N in Taipei, most of the time it was raining and it became quite a problem for us to move around especially when we need to walk from place to place without shelters most of the time. Every night I came back to the hotel with sore feet.

Throughout the time in Taipei, I drank milk tea most of the time, those pearl milk tea sold from shops and stalls, those endorsed by various artistes, I was spoilt for choices when it came to beverages. They were cheap and absolutely delicious. The fried chicken cultet is so much bigger in Taipei and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. I saw a lot of sushi restaurants too. Ate at the restaurant endorsed by Hei Se Hui Mei Mei, good food at cheap price, no matter what you take, sashimi or what, its NT$30 (S$1.50) per plate. Green tea is free. Excellent service with no service charge or GST, all nett prices. Went to Shilin Night market too, was quite a big place to eat, but realise that they all sell almost the same things, so got a bit sian after a while.

Did most of the shopping in Taipei, busy buying presents for friends and clothes for myself. Went to a fun shop that sell novelty chocolate and other candies in funny packagings. Also bought latest shirts from levis, and nice cool summer wear from A&F. Not only that, I went to Rose Records and bought my sister her birthday gift, Hei Se Hui Mei Mei DVD and Lollipop Autographed DVD. I guess she is the greatest winner out of this trip. But i bought myself Jolin's Di Cai DVD too. Watched it and find that JOlin's success didnt come so easily. But thats another story already.

The time spent in Taipei was pleasant except from the scare i got when gf suffered an asthma attack that freaked the daylight out of me! Somemore i have to administer the dosage. I din dare to sleep until she felt asleep again. And also 2nd night when we had a great quarrel that we ended up blasting off at each other. I almost wanted to just leave and return home. I simply cant stand it!

Realise that the people there are in a way better than us. When they take the escalator, they would all keep to the right, the left is only for people who are rushing for time and need to overtake. I saw a guy pulling his younger brother to the right when the latter was blocking the way. In S'pore, people just stand on the right or left or center, blocking the way of people who are rushing for time. On their MRT, they would give seats readily to those who are in need, that is still rarely seen in S'pore. They are disciplined and considerate in that sort of way. I like Taipei very much because its Chinese you see everywhere and you can speak their language, so it very much felt like home.

THe Day

Alright, its another of my lazy day.. woke up at 11 plus and first thing i saw was Ber and Daniel on newspaper, my only thing i have to ask was why Daniel gave a wrong age.. haa.. Crappy..

Went for a hair cut in the afternoon, feel so much better.. Thomas is not around so today i let Stanley cut my hair.. he is not bad i think, at least he tried to talk to me, ask me about my age, where i study and stuff..

To my surprise, he is not the only person who asked me this today..

And the other person is my sister's friend mother, if anyone is reading my blog should know about this poor mother whose money was stolen by her own daughter. Well, have to meet up with her to give her the 270 bucks.

B: So you are the brother, how many years older are you?

Me: Quite a lot.

B: Does your mum know about this? Whose money is this?

Me: Ya i told her (i lied). Its my money lar..

B: (Stunned) Quite a lot ar... Do you think it is rightful to buy things when you don't have the money?

Me: No, its not right.

B: Precisely, i have caned my daughter, almost dragged her to the police station. (Turned to my sis), both of you are too close already. Even your teacher wants to seperate both of you, not good right? Tell me truthfully, who came up with the idea?

Sis: Idea to do what?

B: Who was it? (turned to me) Last time when we were young, we don't have anything. Now kids are fortunate, they have everything. So why do they want to do this?

Me: (A lot of things are flashing in my head. I am furious because she is trying to sound like my sister was the one who instructed her daughter to steal and that my sister is at fault totally. But i don't want to pick up a quarrel with her)

B: You need to teach your sister well and this is definitely not the right thing!

Me: Bi Ci Bi Ci ( that means u too) (and i walk off after that)

B: Definitely bi ci bi ci lar~

But i'm affected.. I cant pick up a quarrel with her because my sister is wrong to a certain extent.. Its true that if they know that what they are doing is wrong, nothing would have happened... bleahx.. feeling crappy..

Blow up?

Expected to be blowing up and getting mad over something that my sister has done, but i'm not, over what has happened but how she tried to solve the problem. Hurts me a bit i guess.

So she realised that her handphone has a bit of a problem, fell in love with a new limited edition Mickey Mouse phone, and decided to borrow money from her friend to buy it. So now the money was actually stolen from her friend's mum, and the mum demanded the money. Din really know whether if the mum kicked up a big fuss or any verbal stuffs that she do, but the first thing that came to my mind is to settle the matter by giving the mum money.

Just feel kinda disappointed that i got to know about the matter through Jac, and not by my own sister. Since when is the family so difficult to communicate? Has relationship become so cold? I truly understand that some things cant be discussed and everybody has secrets.. But this matter shldn't be solved like that isn't it? The reason that i'm angry with jac is because i'm jealous i think.. that my sister chose her and not me.. Why?

Since young, i have been taught not to borrow money from friends, and whatever i want to buy i need to buy it myself, need to save up on my own.. But why did she do that? Beats me.. Maybe teenagers ba.. still have their wants and desires.. bleahx.. Just hope that this incident will teach her something ba..
